All - privatize the illusion of a problem

We all know why it's a bad idea of privatizing public services. The goal of a public service is to serve the public and the objective of a private company is to make a profit for its shareholders. There no need of genius to see that the two are opposing interests. Then why is he? Because the politicians are in the pockets of private interests? Yes, basically a could be this way. But how they sell it is the interesting part, I wish to emphasize here.

Privatization part (he never called that) of the Royal Mail UK temporarily disappeared from the headlines in July 2009.For weeks, we learned how we need the cash and the expertise of the private sector that Royal Mail was not performing well and need to reform and to bring in the new siècle.Une overall company was the preferred bidder.
So what is the problem with the Royal Mail?

Before that we try to respond to what we look at the fun race that the popular automobile BBC Top Gear programme broadcast in the same month. Two of the presenters paid £ 0.39 for a first class stamp and displayed it an island in the UK in a village on another island in the North-Eastern very Western southern most corners of the country. Royal Mail say they offer first class the next day letter across the United Kingdom.

If the BBC presenters jumped a Porsche and led all day and night to try to beat the letter. Meanwhile, the letter made its way through the system mail 24 hours on trucks, trucks and several aircraft. When the BBC presenters is finally arriving at destination of the letter, the letter was already there waiting for them. The mail system had beaten the Porsche sports car and the two determined men.

So what is the problem with the Royal Mail? the answer seems to be: nothing!Except maybe the fact that it is too good market to publish things and think the British postal system is garbage (because that is what they are told). But when I left Germany 10 years ago mail was more expensive and it took normally 3 days for a letter to arrive and I suppose that it is always the cas.Oui!The mega-efficient Germans!

£ 0.39 for such a service, are you joking? while must enter into the 21st century?Better how can you get?

But the way to privatization is still même.Affamer financing service, appear as taxpayers do not receive good service and then claim that privatization is the only way to suivre.Ce which the Royal Mail's needs, owner of taxpayers, maintain a monopoly, the charge fair prices (by that I mean more).

If we stopped to spend billions to the purchase of debts of the banks on nuclear deterrence, wars against civilians abroad for the benefit of oil private interests and all the spying on law-abiding citizens Act, we would be great for all kinds of utilities, which is what money really is for.

In my opinion privatization is simply divert tax privés.Je pockets am step advocating communism, but public services should not be there to win money for private shareholders.
