Argentina vs Germany - this should have been a World Cup semi-final!

Yesterday the second four semi final matches saw completed with Germany against England (some would decisions say that in recent times using one of the most terrible arbitrators) and Argentina against Mexico (he, again with a bad off decision). Two World Cup giant World Cup past with eyes very much on the upcoming...

Diego Maradona, so often a part of Argentina past glories, now has the reins of Argentina future in its hands. He is doing a great job, it must be said. Qualifying for South Africa proved to be a little complicated, but certainly won the man some respect for the manner that his team come together in this final. With Messi start alive, Tevez on the scoresheet and much co-stars in support seeking Argentina of every bit the part.

Germany, on the other hand, turned by a young team from seemingly consisting of Brazilians, Turks and Poland in a potential World Cup winning team. The most cosmopolitan German team in the history was likely to speak no real big names (outside the Bundesliga) what it, the BBC commentator yesterday on the England V Germany said game? Oh yes... "Look at this team and consider who would get in the England team and have perhaps 1 players". Right! And another thing - perhaps it was not so bad, that Ballack make it to South Africa - could not, what do you think?

So, if we our soccer predictions hat to stick, do what we come up with? First, we must say that it probably a match too early - would this one as a classic semi finals have been great - but this is the way that it goes and like the draw berth for the winner is... so "only" a semifinal of this match for shoot! Second, it has the potential, a true classic, one of those games, in the history goes down. I hope not because of some bad Officialing, but rather because of the pure football talent on display.

Perhaps a master class Messi? Or a Muller night show? Maybe a scoring session Tevez? Or maybe even time for Shweinsteiger to take center of stage?

Whatever happens, this is a game, I will not miss!
